Template — review before publishing
This is a starting outline, not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review and adapt it to your business and jurisdiction before you rely on it.
1. Who we are
We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Contact details are on our contact page.
2. What we collect
Account details you provide (name, business name, email, phone, billing address, tax identifiers); service data (domains, hosting accounts, tickets); and technical data (IP address, browser user agent, sign-in timestamps) collected automatically.
3. Why we use it
To provide and support the services, to register domains with registries, to invoice and collect payment, to detect abuse and secure the platform, and to meet legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.
5. Sharing
We share only what is necessary: with domain registries and registrars to register domains, with payment providers to process payments, and with infrastructure providers who host the platform. We do not sell personal information.
6. Domain registration data
Registering a domain requires submitting registrant details to the registry. Some of that data may appear in public WHOIS records unless privacy protection is available and enabled.
7. Retention
Account and billing records are kept while the account is open and afterwards for the period required by tax and accounting rules. Operational logs are kept for a limited window and then deleted.
8. Security
Credentials are hashed or encrypted at rest, administrative actions are logged, access is restricted by role, and backups are held off-server. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach affecting your data as required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to local law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
10. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for sign-in and cart functionality. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
11. Changes
We will post updates here and notify you of material changes by email.
